About the Team
Our Insurance & Health team is headed up by 35 industry leading principals across six states. Within the insurance space our award-winning team is known for producing high quality advice and delivering exceptional client service. The team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for the biggest names in the insurance industry, both locally and overseas.
About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join our Insurance and Health team in Brisbane with principal Megan Daniel, to specialise in Government & Institutional (G&I) abuse claims. The role will involve managing a hybrid claim portfolio with half relating to G&I claims and the balance, a broad range of other insurance claims. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing legal support and representation to our clients to ensure the best possible outcomes.
About You
* previous experience in G&I claims;
* a willingness to learn and broaden your knowledge in insurance claims, particularly liability and coverage matters;
* ability to manage your own file load;
* ability to build strong client relationships with a focus on client service;
* effective communication skills;
* ability and enthusiasm to mentor junior practitioners; and
* work collaborative and pragmatic approach.
