About the Role
Supporting a small group of nearby villages, you'll take ownership of day‐to‐day maintenance tasks, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly for residents and staff.
This role offers a mix of planned maintenance and responsive work, with the opportunity to build strong relationships within the village community.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform general maintenance and repairs across village facilities
* Complete tasks including painting, minor carpentry and basic plumbing
* Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
* Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
* Liaise with contractors and support quality outcomes
* Maintain tools, equipment and maintenance records
* Follow safe work practices and WHS requirements
About You
* Experience in maintenance, handyman or similar roles
* Practical, hands‐on and solutions focused
* Able to manage work across multiple nearby locations
* Strong communication skills and a friendly, helpful approach
* Reliable and well organised
* Physically capable of manual work
* Experience in retirement living, aged care or residential environments
