The Role
Make a difference in our community
The role will lead multiple strategic planning teams to deliver high-profile strategic land use projects within a high growth context, including delivering the vision for the Epping Activity Centre, planning for the Beveridge Intermodal Precinct, development plans, structure plans, and planning scheme amendments. The role will also oversee the implementation and coordination of Council's development and infrastructure contributions plans.
You will be part of a high-performing team committed to delivering great outcomes and creating highly livable places for residents in the City of Whittlesea.
About you
You will be an experienced strategic planning leader with proven experience and skills in leading high-performing teams and projects to deliver success.
You will have demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating complex strategic planning projects and a genuine understanding of urban and growth area planning issues.
Your communication skills will be highly developed, including effective report writing, verbal and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to present and explain complex planning issues and concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders.
You will have a passion for mentoring and coaching others to achieve goals and project timelines, and to develop and maximize their potential.
