The Role
Suit persons wanting to work flexible hours from home office, Full time position where hours will vary dependent on projects undertaken (Casual work also available).
Working as part of a small team of Design professionals, your role would involve a wide variety of project types, size and nature requiring you to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
CAD Modelling and Drafting of Bulk Materials Handling Equipment using Siemens NX CAD Software (provided), interesting and challenging work with plenty of variety. Good rates provided to right candidate.
To be considered for this role you must have
* Be proficient in NX CAD Software
* Demonstrate intermediate level proficiency in NX CAD Software with proven ability to handle complex modelling tasks
* Ability to work from own home office
* At least 5 years CAD experience
* Must have a passion for modelling, drafting & innovation
* Able to identify issues, problems, and opportunities; make timely decisions; develop appropriate and innovative solutions; and ask for assistance if required.
* The ability to work to a high standard while still adhering to strict deadlines
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Excellent English communication skills – verbal written and listening
* Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the application of Australian Standards
* Fast and accurate design skills with high attention to detail
* Own a Computer capable of running large NX assembly files.
* Own a mid-range workstation computer with specifications suitable for running large NX assembly files efficiently
* Good internet connection capable of large downloads/uploads
* Proficient in Microsoft applications
* Ability to use Teams and Dropbox
* Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
Experience preferred
* Bulk Materials Handling
* First-hand knowledge of light, medium & heavy fabrication
* Machining practices, Limits & Fits, Welding Symbols and Geometric Tolerancing.
* Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
* Drafting Certificate
* Diploma of Mechanical Engineering
