Hays is proud to be partnering with a remotely based organisation seeking People & Culture Support for 3-6 Months. The site is supported by a strong leadership team and is entering a critical phase of workforce and industrial relations development.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this full-time contract role will see you as the sole HR operator on-site. Youll be responsible for leading all EBA negotiations as a top priority, while also managing day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, disciplinary processes, and workers compensation. This is a FIFO role operating on a 9 days on / 5 days off roster. On-site hours are 6am6pm.
Youll be supported with accommodation, meals, laundry service, gym access, and transport including access to a site vehicle. A laptop will be provided; however, youll need to bring your own phone.
What you'll need to succeed
This role requires a senior-level HR generalist who can operate both strategically and operationally in a remote, autonomous setting.
To be successful for this role, you will need to possess:\
- Availability to FIFO on a 9:5 roster
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise bargaining agreement (EBA) negotiations
- Strong generalist HR background at a management level
- Ability to work independently in a FIFO environment
- Experience in mining or industrial environments (preferred but not essential)
- Confidence in leading HR functions and influencing leadership
