We are seeking a talented and reliable Chef to join our kitchen team. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a wide range of menu items while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation Coordinate daily kitchen prep and ensure all sections are ready for service Take ownership of a section and maintain efficiency during busy service periods Assist with menu development, specials and seasonal offerings Support and guide junior kitchen staff to maintain workflow and standards Monitor food quality, portion control and minimise wastage Maintain stock levels, assist with ordering and ensure proper storage of ingredients Follow and enforce food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations and equipment About You: Experience working as a Chef in a busy restaurant, pub or café Ability to work well under pressure and within a team Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety practices Positive attitude, reliability and good time management Availability to work a rotating roster including evenings and weekends This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-regarded venue in Port Macquarie and grow your culinary career within a supportive team.
