Primary Purpose of the Role
To provide comprehensive operational and administrative support across key business functions, ensuring the smooth execution of wholesale processes, while maintaining strong relationships with key accounts through accurate data management and responsive customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative and operational support to the Operations Manager and National Sales Manager.
* Manage order entry, data submissions, and respond to customer enquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
* Maintain and update internal databases with accurate product and inventory information.
* Coordinate the release of orders and assist with processes related to stock landing and logistics.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow across the business.
* Prepare and submit regular reports to management, including sales performance, inventory status, and customer feedback.
* Work closely with eCommerce customers to upload and maintain product databases, ensuring accurate and timely updates of product listings, pricing, and availability.
* Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues on eCommerce platforms.
* Liaise with warehouse & logistics team to ensure orders are being dispatched as per instructions and in a timely manner.
Skills & Experience Required
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
* Experience working in the wholesale/retail sector; experience in homewares industry and/or eCommerce is highly desirable.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
* High attention to detail, particularly in data entry, database management, and eCommerce product uploads.
* Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
Qualifications
* Tertiary education in commerce, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar support role within a wholesale, retail or eCommerce environment.
