The State's tertiary referral centre and is also the primary teaching hospital for the University of Tasmania School of Medicine. The Department of Women's, Adolescent and Children's Services has Staff Specialists with a range of clinical, teaching and research interests and experience. This is a supportive, coherent and highly functioning team which is motivated to meet the service needs of the community.
