We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed nurse for our friendly and supportive Medical Centre. Our practice provides a flexible work environment with ongoing training and support.
As a senior practice nurse you will be able to provide quality care to a diverse mix of patients through;
Chronic Disease Management including Care Plans & Health Assessments
Immunisations & Vaccinations
ECG's & Spirometry
Wound care/dressings
Assisting doctors with minor surgical procedures
Daily co-ordination of the treatment room, stock control and medical equipment maintenance
Implementing and practicing infection control
Identifying & contributing to the development of our patient educational needs.
Essential Criteria:
Current unrestricted Nurses Registration with AHPRA
Strong clinical background
Highly organised with excellent time management skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
Caring & collaborative approach to patient care
Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
This position will be largely based on Chronic Condition Management. This is essential in primary health care, focusing on the management and prevention of chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and respiratory conditions. We expect this position to work in closely with management for consultation on new nurse led clinic ideas, policy and procedures written, meeting key performance indicators, motivating and ensuring general practitioners are motivated and committed to improve patients lives and promote better health outcomes.
This position would be permanent part time 2 to 3 days a week plus the ability to cover personal and annual leave.
