The Role
The Bar located in the departures terminal offers customers a wide range of tap and bottled beers, packaged spirits, hot snacks, burgers, and meals. We are looking for people with a genuine interest in helping customers shop for all their travel needs. We're seeking an enthusiastic Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join the food & beverage team at Karratha Airport. If you love being hands-on, thrive in a busy café environment, and want to lead a great team, this is the opportunity for you.
What You'll Do
1. Be a go-to leader – support your team to deliver excellent service
2. Bring energy to every shift and create a great team vibe
3. Ensure food & beverage standards are on point – quality, speed, and presentation
4. Support stock management, hygiene, and compliance processes
5. Train, coach, and motivate team members
6. Maintain a positive, people-first culture
What We're Looking For
7. Previous leadership experience in hospitality, food retail, or cafes
8. Understanding of food safety, hygiene and compliance practices (Must have a Food Handlers Certificate)
9. A valid RSA certificate
10. Well-groomed & professionally presented
11. Strong communication and people skills
12. Flexible availability (early mornings, nights, weekends & holidays)
13. Valid working rights & ability to obtain an Aviation Security ID Card
