Job Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished Branch Manager to oversee operations across five sites in the Southwest WA region. This is a key leadership role that requires exceptional operational and financial management skills.
As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for managing a diverse team of approximately 70 employees, providing frontline leadership in Health & Safety, Operations, Finance, and Maintenance. You will drive a culture of compliance and safety, establish effective risk and compliance initiatives, and promote talent management and succession plans to maximise employee engagement and retention.
Additionally, you will partner with the commercial finance team to deliver data integrity and process improvements, monitor and manage branch activities, and be accountable for overall operational and financial performance, including profit and loss reporting, budget preparation, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide frontline leadership in Health & Safety, Operations, Finance, and Maintenance
* Drive a culture of compliance and safety
* Establish and promote effective risk and compliance initiatives
* Manage a substantial local government waste services portfolio
* Partner with the commercial finance team to deliver data integrity and process improvements
Requirements:
* Operational leadership background in Transport/Logistics, ideally with experience in waste management
* Strong track record of safety leadership and performance
* Commercial grounding to analyse pricing, tenders, quotes, etc.
* Demonstrated experience and understanding of industrial relations
* Well-developed experience with P&L management and a sound financial acumen
