**Warehouse Supervisor Role**
Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced warehouse supervisor to oversee our inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring accurate and efficient stock control, as well as managing a team of staff.
The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and scheduling production jobs, negotiating terms with suppliers, maintaining real-time accuracy in SAP for effective materials planning and production usage, and actively managing the supply chain to ensure timely inventory orders and availability to meet production timelines.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and schedule production jobs efficiently.
* Negotiate terms with key suppliers and oversee supplier relationships.
* Maintain real-time accuracy in SAP for effective materials planning and production usage.
* Actively manage the supply chain to ensure timely inventory orders and availability to meet production timelines.
* Nurture positive relationships with suppliers, addressing concerns and exploring new cost-effective alternatives.
* Accurately record inventory details to provide clear insights into availability.
* Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet customer needs and prevent overstocking.
* Lead hiring, training, and management of staff.
* Identify and implement process improvements.
* Stay updated on inventory control best practices to educate staff and drive policy changes.
* Conduct regular stock takes and provide inventory and production reports to finance.
* Supervise the warehouse team to achieve company and departmental goals.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* Tertiary qualification in business administration, management, finance, or industrial technology.
* Proficiency in SAP and/or other ERP solutions for inventory and manufacturing environments.
* 7+ years of experience in inventory management and stock control roles.
Competencies:
* Knowledge of raw materials.
* Understanding of quality systems and standards.
* Familiarity with business, finance, and management principles.
* Knowledge of human resource principles and practices.
* Solid computer skills.

Schedule:
