About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Plumbing Teacher to join our Construction team.
In this role, you will deliver engaging and industry-relevant education that supports students in achieving their learning and career goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and evaluate student learning programs and resources
Deliver training and assessment aligned with VET and curriculum requirements
Support student engagement, attendance, and outcomes
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment
Participate in curriculum development, industry consultation, and quality assurance
Provide leadership and support within the Plumbing department
Embrace new technologies and continuous improvement strategies
Participate in marketing, student selection, and induction processes
Skills and Experience Required
Appropriate post-secondary qualifications and recent industry experience
Registration as a Plumber in the State of Victoria
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE***** or equivalent)
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and learner-centred teaching
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and ICT skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines
Knowledge of ASQA/VET compliance and quality assurance standards
Additional Requirements
A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
A National Police Check
