We are seeking a skilled Multipurpose Officer/Plant Operator to join our Services and Operations team in Colac in a Temporary Full-Time, Fixed Term capacity.
As a member of the Services and Operations team you will carry out allocated tasks on Council's roads, bridges, road reserves, and Council-owned and managed land, with an emphasis on safety, quality and budget requirements to meet corporate values and standards.
This position is based at the Colac Depot.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
* Demonstrate experience in manual or outdoor civil work activities
* Demonstrate experience in road construction and maintenance works
* Have good written communication skills
* Have traffic control or roadwork signage competence certificates
* Have an OH&S Construction Induction Card/White Card
* Truck and/or required machinery tickets such as grader, roller, loader, excavator and skid steer
* Current manual driver's licence
Salary information: $64,129.10 to $67,823.63 per annum pro rata including industry allowance plus superannuation.
