We are seeking a friendly Orthoptist to work alongside our team of five friendly ophthalmologists at VisionFirst Surgery You will work in a supportive team of orthoptists to deliver high quality patient-centered eye care.
Responsibility:
Assist Ophthalmologists with tests including OCT, fundal photo, A-scan and visual field tests (Zeiss instrument experience preferred but not essential).
Admin/reception work will also be required. Candidate must be willing to perform some admin duties.
Probation period: 3 months
Other requirements: Tertiary degree in Orthoptics, Australian Orthoptic Board (AOB) registration (preferred but not essential). Good interpersonal skills, good touch typing skills, willingness to work with children; supportive and caring nature.
