Retail Operator / Social Marketing Executive (QLD)
The position is a full‐time, permanent role with an annual salary range of $46,000 to $52,000.
Retail Representative Duties & Responsibilities
* Liaise with customers and deal with customer queries and complaints
* Maintain professional contact with internal and external customers when interacting in person, over the phone, and online
* Arrange the inspection, delivery of goods and return of goods
* Drive sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
* Reach the outlined sales target
* Actively maintain strong product knowledge of goods being supplied and the marketplace
* Handle payments and manage financial transactions
* Inform customers about discounts, promotions, and special offers
Social Media Marketing Duties & Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and manage the social media strategy and goals, consistent with the company's brand identity across platforms such as Facebook, eBay, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
* Create and edit photos and videos that promote the company's products for high‐volume posting across all social media platforms
* Review analytics and define social media KPIs to refine strengths and weaknesses of campaigns
* Ensure postings are made using effective marketing techniques to achieve maximum interaction
* Engage with followers, respond to messages, inquiries, reviews, and comments in a timely manner
* Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies, and solve technological issues independently
Eligibility & Skills
* Retail Sales Experience (Required – at least 1 year)
* Social Media Experience (Required – at least 1 year)
* Bachelor's Degree in social media marketing or a related field (preferred)
* Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, eBay, and effective marketing techniques
* Advanced computer skills and proficiency with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop
* Knowledge of using and managing Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and eBay pages and postings
* Ability to work unsupervised, handle pressure, and prioritize workload
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
Education
* Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Experience
* Social media management: at least 1 year (Required)
