Position
Business and Systems Analyst – Fixed‑term, full‑time. Hybrid work model.
Employment Details
Fixed‑term full‑time, commencing ASAP for 2 years.
Part‑time hours may be considered by negotiation.
Preferred location to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Duties
- Contribute to and support the delivery of software releases in accordance with the approved software development strategy for the Housing Management System.
- Collaborate with Homes Tasmania’s business units, vendors and stakeholders in conducting business and systems analysis to deliver business‑driven technology change through assigned projects, improvement initiatives and innovative programs of work.
- Contribute to building an inclusive team through change that, together with all ITMS teams, also builds a collaborative business unit that enables Homes Tasmania to achieve its stated objectives.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in business and systems analysis, re‑engineering and process mapping.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting the delivery of software development, implementation of new technologies and enhancing existing applications and tools.
- Demonstrated project management and change management skills to support the development and implementation of business applications and tools.
- Industry experience in the conduct of business and systems‑based analysis, delivery of application software development services and/or implementation of new technologies.
- Current ITIL®, project management, change management or business analysis certification (or working towards successful completion).
- Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration (child‑related activity).
