Headland Technology Pty Ltd, a leading provider of advanced manufacturing technology and software solutions, is seeking a Field Service technician to join our talented team. In this full-time role based in Balcatta, WA and surrounding suburbs, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and maintenance for our clients' manufacturing technology.
What you'll be doing
* Performing on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of CNC machines and related equipment
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex technical issues, implementing effective break-fix strategies
* Providing training and guidance to clients on the proper operation and care of their CNC systems
* Documenting all work performed and maintaining detailed service records
* Liaising with the support and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction
* Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our service offerings
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a manufacturing Field Service technician or in a similar technical role
* Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, with a solid understanding of manufacturing machine technology
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
* Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively liaise with clients
* Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
* Relevant technical certifications, qualifications and/or experience in Mechanical / and or /Electrical Engineering
