An importer and distributor of specialty and commodity chemicals is seeking a Sales Administration person to provide sales support to their team.
Your will provide support to the Fine Chemicals Business Unit Manager who sources food and fine chemical products for customers in the Australian and New Zealand markets. This role is a key point of contact for customers, responding to any queries that are raised and preparing documentation to support the sales process.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Assisting the Sales team with the preparation of quotes / costings
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- Processing quality documentation and certificates
- Liaising with suppliers to complete supplier questionnaires
- Setting up new customers, new products and new suppliers in our CRM system
- Completing indent order forms
- Sending samples, brochures and product specific data to customers
- Maintaining the sample register
- Providing monthly supplier reports
- Forecasting for suppliers' and collecting customers' forecasting
- Entering documents and information into CRM
- Collation of data into required reports
- Back up the sales team as required
Have a minimum of 3 years' administrative experience (ideally in a sales support role)
- Excellent skills dealing with customers (verbal and written)
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise and solve problems
- Able to work both autonomously and in a team environment
- Proficient with using ERP computer systems such as SAP, IBM Notes and Microsoft Excel
and Word
