Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Senior Traction Power/OHLE Engineer - Renewals & Maintenance to join our Melbourne, VIC team in a hybrid capacity, combining in-office collaboration with the flexibility of working from home. The role involves managing and delivering renewal and maintenance projects for traction power and Overhead Line Equipment (OHLE) systems. Responsibilities include reviewing and developing engineering designs, ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards, providing technical expertise, and leading project teams to achieve high-quality results. This role also includes liaising with clients, stakeholders, and interdisciplinary teams to align project goals and ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications
* Deep understanding of the MTM network, requirements,
* Expertise in Traction Power Systems and Overhead Line Equipment (OHLE) design, maintenance, and renewal.
* Project management and leadership experience in engineering teams for infrastructure projects.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present technical information effectively.
* Familiarity with safety and compliance standards in transport, MTM, and big build infrastructure projects.
* Problem-solving and analytical skills to address technical challenges and improve existing systems.
* A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Professional certification in engineering is a plus, inc MTM competence
* Experience in the transport or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in relevant technical software and tools used for designing and analyzing electrical systems.
