We are hiring a Head of Market Analysis & Investment Strategy to lead a key function across client strategy, investment methodology and public-facing market insights.
You'll work closely with Nirvan Jamshidpey (Head of Acquisitions) and Arshad Zacky (Head of Client Success).
The Role
This is a hybrid strategy + research + marketing content/personal brand role across:
* Client investment strategy
* Market/suburb analysis
* Thought leadership and content
This is not a back-office analyst role. You will help shape both client outcomes and Pathway's public market commentary.
Key Responsibilities
Client Strategy & Portfolio Planning
* Lead initial strategy sessions end-to-end
* Provide portfolio recommendations and long-term planning
* Advise on strategy, asset type, cashflow, target locations and sequencing
* Convert strategy into clear acquisition briefs for the Acquisitions Team
Market & Location Analysis
* Lead suburb, LGA and broader market research
* Own and evolve Pathway's suburb selection methodology
* Prepare monthly suburb/LGA reports and maintain whitepapers
* Identify emerging markets and refine data-backed frameworks
Marketing Content & Personal Brand
* Contribute research-led insights to Pathway's content engine
* Support market commentary, suburb insights and strategic content
* Participate in podcasts, videos and other on-camera content
* Translate complex data into clear, practical insights
What We're Looking For
Core Requirements
* Strong understanding of property markets and investment fundamentals
* Strong analytical ability and commercial judgement
* Ability to interpret data and form clear investment theses
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Strategic thinker (not just reporting data)
* Comfortable on camera / public-facing (required)
* Full working rights in Australia
Preferred (not required)
* Property investing experience / active portfolio
* Experience in property research, buyers agency, advisory, valuation or investment strategy
* Experience with tools such as ABS, CoreLogic, SQM etc.
* Content / media / social media experience

Remuneration
* Base salary of 6 figures + super
