Teacher / Allied Health Assistant Role Available

Part-time 2 days per week with intent to increase to 34 hrs/week.

Spectrum Village – Autism Learning Centre is on the lookout for our next superstar Teacher or Allied Health Assistant to join our supportive team in Hervey Bay, QLD.
This is not just a support role—it's a chance to bring therapy into real-life settings and help children thrive in their everyday environments.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting our multi-disciplinary team to deliver therapy under the NDIS- working with occupational therapists, speech therapists and dietitian.
* Providing centre-based and mobile services in homes, schools, and daycares
* Helping implement therapy programs designed by our clinicians
* Building strong, positive relationships with children and their families
* Collaborating closely with therapists to achieve individual goals
* Keeping clear and up-to-date client notes that meet audit standards

Who We're Looking For:
* Experience working with children (essential)
* A genuine love for supporting neurodivergent individuals (Autism, ADHD, etc.)
* Strong communication and decision-making skills
* A team player who is proactive, positive, and eager to learn
* Someone flexible, organised, and aligned with person-centred care
* Passionate about early intervention and family-centered therapy
Qualifications – You could be:
* A qualified Early Childhood Teacher
* A Uni student currently studying Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology
* OR a completed (or willing-to-complete) Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
* Hold a current driver's licence, Blue Card (Working with Children), First Aid/CPR, NDIS Working with children check & National Police Check
