This role is a permanent full-time position for a State Sales Manager based in our office in Braeside. You will be responsible for driving sales while upholding the professionalism that we are known for.
Responsibilities:
* Motivating and engaging the sales team through in field coaching and your demonstrated people development skills
* Utilizing our CRM and sales analytics to assist the team and drive business growth
* Implementing and executing existing sales strategies to grow market share across Melbourne.
* Assist in the preparation and execution of both state and national sales plans and policies.
* Provide up-to-date product knowledge and sales information to your staff to build and maintain customer relationships.
* Review weekly and monthly reports against KPI's and all relevant aspects of performance.
* Direct the sales teams' activities to actively support upper management direction.
* Follow organizational policies and regulations that affect the Sales department
The successful candidate will have:
* 3years + experience managing a sales team
* Experience in the timber or construction industry will be highly regarded
* Proven track record selling to carpenters, builders or form workers
* Ability to effectively plan and implement sales strategies
* Highly developed prospecting, business development and customer centric skills
