About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of food services at Corinda State High School. This role involves managing multi-site canteens, school catering, and event services while ensuring high standards of nutrition, sustainability, and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing financial and operational leadership for food services, including budgeting, procurement, and compliance.
* Planning and delivering catering for school events, VIP visitors, and external functions.
* Managing kitchen operations, staff rosters, and embedding sustainability practices like waste reduction and recycling.
* Developing seasonal menus aligned with Smart Choices, balancing nutrition, appeal, and affordability.
* Ensuring compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and departmental policies.
