About the Solicitor Role
The Department for Education SA is seeking a skilled solicitor to join its in-house legal team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality legal advice to staff across the department, identify and evaluate policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
This involves providing written and verbal legal advice to staff across schools, preschools, and corporate offices, identifying and evaluating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements, preparing written communications, including briefings and referrals, assisting with emerging legal issues and risk management, and maintaining confidential and secure records management of legal documents.
