Tradelink Mitcham is expanding, and we’re looking for a motivated BDM to drive sales growth, win new business, and strengthen key accounts across the region. What You’ll Be Doing As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing market share and strengthening customer relationships across the Mitcham catchment. Drive sales growth by actively engaging customers on the road and identifying new business opportunities Develop new accounts through face-to-face visits, cold calls, and relationship-building Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction Promote and sell a diverse range of plumbing products and solutions Stay ahead of the market by monitoring competitors and industry trends Deliver exceptional service, responding to customer enquiries via phone, email and in person Work closely with suppliers to manage orders and support customer needs Support the branch team with ad-hoc tasks when required – all hands-on deck What You’ll Bring Plumbing wholesale experience – essential Proven success in business development or sales, with a strong new-business focus Confidence in face-to-face customer engagement, including cold visits A self-starter mindset with a fresh, proactive approach to winning business Strong organisation and communication skills A collaborative, team-first attitude A current driver’s licence (forklift licence desirable but not essential) What’s in It for You?
