About the Role
As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you’ll help make sure our residents live in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. You’ll be responsible for general cleaning tasks across the home, and may also help with laundry when needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cleaning resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and more
- Mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and carpet cleaning
- Managing waste and restocking supplies
- Using cleaning products safely and correctly
- Following infection control procedures
- Supporting a tidy and hazard-free environment
- Assisting with laundry when required
- Working as part of a supportive team
What We’re Looking For
- Some experience in cleaning (aged care experience is a bonus)
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety practices
- A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- A good attitude and solid attention to detail
- Ability to follow routines and work independently
- Must meet Aged Care Worker Screening requirements
