About the role
As our Allied Health Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors. You will create a positive, welcoming experience from the moment they walk through the door of our bustling Vitality Movement Centre. You'll ensure the smooth running of day-to-day administrative operations and support the delivery of high-quality services.
Responsibilities
Provide warm, professional front-desk service to clients and visitors
Deliver exceptional customer service in how you respond to incoming calls and enquiries, and schedule appointments
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the clinical team
Process payments, manage billing enquiries, and handle Medicare/NDIS/Private Health transactions
Maintain a clean, organised reception and waiting area
Assist with general office administration such as emails, data entry, filing, and stock management
Uphold confidentiality and support a person-centred service culture
Other things you might like to know
Part-time, 15hrs per week (availability required on Thursday and Friday)
Based in the new Vitality Movement Centre with state-of-the-art equipment, located centrally on the Sunshine Coast
We would love to meet you if you ....
Have previous experience in reception, customer service, or an administrative role and a commitment to providing outstanding service (healthcare experience will be highly regarded)
Are friendly, energetic, compassionate, resilient, and genuinely enjoy helping people
Bring strong organisational and multitasking skills and can work equally well in a team or independently
Have some tech skills and are confident using practice management systems e.g Microsoft Office, and Nookal (preferred)
Communicate clearly and professionally with people from diverse backgrounds with excellent phone etiquette
Show initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment
