Strategic Executive Assistant to the CEO (Future Ops & Leadership Role) Strategic Executive Assistant to the CEO - (People, Procurement & Scale Ops) Summary: This is not your average EA role. We're building one of the most forward-thinking construction companies in Australia — and the CEO is looking for one exceptional candidate to become his trusted right hand.
You'll operate at the centre of everything: supporting the CEO, helping scale the company, running fast-moving systems, and learning how to lead from the front. If you're the kind of person who learns fast, solves problems before they're spoken, and thrives under pressure — this is your shot.
You'll be trained, mentored, and exposed to the real engine room of a fast-scaling company. Your future? That's in operations, leadership, or even building your own division — once you prove you can run beside the founder.
What You'll Own: Executive Enablement: Anticipate and clear the CEO's path daily.
Manage his calendar, inbox, meetings, comms, and prep.
Capture actions, follow-ups, and ensure momentum is never lost.
Become the operational extension of his brain.
People & Recruitment Support: Post roles, run AI-powered screening (Rippling/ChatGPT), manage job funnels.
Coordinate interviews with supervisors and the COO (Toby).
Own trades recruitment — quick, accurate, and value-aligned.
Maintain hiring process documentation and follow-up sequences.
Procurement Systems Support: Help the CFO run early procurement workflows (quote tracking, document syncs).
Flag issues, assist with supplier comms, and ensure nothing is missed.
You're not doing the buying — but you're keeping the machine oiled.
Internal Ops & System Flow: Spot inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
Implement new tools and automation to improve team productivity.
Who You Are: Fiercely trustworthy — the kind of person people would hand the keys to.
Energised by learning how to run a business from the inside out.
Detail-obsessed, clear communicator, fast learner.
Naturally good with tech — or eager to master it (HubSpot, N8N, Xero, etc.).
Calm under pressure and relentless with follow-through.
Ambitious — not to skip steps, but to earn your way up.
Location: Perth-based preferred, but open to remote for an exceptional candidate who can match the tempo and trust required.
Salary & Progression: $100,000 – $140,000 base + performance bonuses. Full tech stack and training provided.
Clear progression into senior ops, strategy, or department leadership roles.
Exposure to every moving part of a scale-up construction company.
Direct mentorship from the founder — and the chance to grow as the business does.
Final Word from the CEO: "I think in systems, ideas, and long-term strategy. I move fast — and I need someone beside me who brings order, action, and follow-through. Someone I can trust completely. You'll see the whole business from the inside out — hiring, procurement, ops, systems. I'll train you, test you, and back you. This role is a launchpad, but only for the right candidate: switched-on, loyal, precise, and hungry to learn."
