Global Payroll Specialist - APAC Sydney | Hybrid Working A leading global technology organisation is seeking a Global Payroll Specialist (APAC) to join their collaborative payroll team. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders and payroll providers to ensure accurate, compliant and timely payroll delivery. This position will suit a payroll professional with strong end-to-end Australian payroll experience who is curious about stepping into a more global payroll environment. Key Responsibilities - End-to-end payroll processing within a high-volume environment - Supporting payroll operations across APAC jurisdictions - Managing reconciliations, variance analysis and payroll reporting - Ensuring compliance with Australian payroll legislation and statutory requirements - Partnering with internal teams and external providers - Supporting payroll process improvements and system efficiencies - Handling complex payroll queries and escalations Payroll Environment - Monthly payroll of approximately 1,400 employees - Hybrid working model - Spreadsheet-driven payroll validation processes - Exposure to regional payroll operations About You - Strong end-to-end Australian payroll experience - Experience working in high-volume payroll environments (500 employees) - Intermediate Excel skills (lookups, pivots, reconciliations) - Solid tenure demonstrating reliability and ownership - Understanding of Australian payroll legislation and state-based differences - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex payroll queries Experience or interest in APAC payroll operations will be highly regarded.
