**About the role**
Our client base has expanded well beyond the now loyal portfolio of sponsors who have associated their brand with Optus Sport and resulted in an increase in volume and complexity of campaigns with a focus on the day-to-day optimisation of our programmatic advertising stack.
As the Ad Tech & Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for the optimal setup and advanced operations of Optus Sport and Fitness advertising ecosystem. You'll be joining a highly specialised team who embodies the core interface between the technology (video delivery) and advertising operations. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Ensuring all technical aspects of digital advertising are running smoothly across video platforms by working with SSAI technology, web debugging tools, 3rd party tracking vendors, programmatic SSP's and ad serving software.
- Create and troubleshoot video advertising tags and monitoring the overall advertising ecosystem across Desktop, Mobile, CTV, set top boxes etc.
- Provide technical support for digital advertising implementation, assisting with campaign management and scheduling, rich media and video pre-roll implementation, forecasting, and reporting.
- Developing and maintaining operational best practices; keeping up to date with new ad tech functionality and potential opportunities.
- Provide top class service to our customers and internal teams in relation to delivery of advertising, revenue enablement and issue management.
- Create efficiencies through workflow analysis.
**About you**
As a driven self-starter, you'll bring to the role your ability to work on multiple activities at once and working towards efficiency and accuracy. You'll be proficient in variety of techniques including analysing data, interpreting findings for commercial purposes, technical references and comfortable with research. Your previous experience to find solutions that can accommodate competing priorities and channel initiatives will be pivotal in this role. Critical will be your ability to understand stakeholder requirements and to achieve high level collaboration across all areas of the business. Strategically minded and laser focus on customer needs, you will also bring to the role:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, IT and/or relevant discipline.
- Proven previous experience in a same/similar position working within third-party ad technologies and tools (Google suite of advertising software, Programmatic SSP's, DMP's, HTML/5, Flash and any testing tools).
- Experience with video ads: VAST, VPAID, Open Measurement SDK (OMSDK), SSAI etc.
- Focused on business outcomes and ROI.
- Genuine passion for Digital Advertising with a thirst to learn and improve.
- Ability to influence decisions and manage expectations at senior level.
- Self-directing and flexibility to adjust to changes in priorities and business directions.
