Based in our Masonry Middle Swan site, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Midland Brick. The Maintenance Supervisor will be directly responsible for the mechanical maintenance of the plant.
Your Role Will Include
* Facilitating mechanical maintenance of production equipment
* Prioritising mechanical resources to achieve production and maintenance goals
* Ensuring breakdown and maintenance logs are recorded
* Enable the training and development of fitters, boilermakers and apprentices
* Enabling the training and development of fitters, boilermakers, and apprentices
* Engaging and managing external contractors to meet the project and maintenance objectives
* Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safe work practices
Skills and Experience:
* Experience in similar roles (supervisory experience)
* Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker Qualification (highly desirable)
* Demonstrated experience with manufacturing and machinery and plant equipment
* Demonstrated experience with extrusion and brickmaking equipment (highly desirable)
* Strong experience in safety leadership
* Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
* Strong organisational and time management skills
