As a Client Manager at APositive, you will play a key role in supporting the Client Relationship Team by ensuring exceptional service and smooth onboarding for new clients. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our experienced Client Services Team Leader, taking a hands-on approach to managing relationships and conducting face-to-face meetings with clients. You will be responsible for assisting with the onboarding process and ensuring that clients are smoothly integrated into our services while providing proactive support and building strong client connections.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Relationship Management: Act as a point of contact for clients, offering support and guidance while building strong, ongoing relationships.
* Onboarding Support: Work closely with the Client Services Team Leader to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients, assisting with their initial setup and ensuring they understand the services available to them.
* Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with client reporting, post-settlement obligations, and AML regulations.
* Face-to-Face Meetings: Attend regular client meetings, building relationships and ensuring clients feel supported throughout their journey with APositive.
* Proactive Client Support: Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and offer solutions in a timely manner to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
* Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the Client Relationship Team, Sales, Credit, and Payroll departments to provide a seamless service to clients.
* Assist with Debt Collection: Support the monitoring and collection of outstanding debts, working under the guidance of senior team members.
* Promote APositive Services: Help identify opportunities to introduce additional services that may benefit clients, supporting upsell initiatives.
Role Requirements
Experience: 1–2 years in customer service or a client-facing role, with a keen interest in relationship management. Experience in invoice finance or recruitment is a plus.
Education: High school diploma; business-related qualification is a plus.
Skills & Knowledge
* Strong negotiation, communication, and attention to detail skills
* Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain long-lasting relationships
* Proactive, organised, and able to work independently
* Basic understanding of invoice finance (preferred but not essential)
* A background in recruitment will be an advantage
* Willingness to learn and grow within the company
* Other: No Criminal Record and ability to work long-term in Australia - Permanent Australian Resident
