We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate full time **Key Account Manager** to join the Compass Group team within our Education brand, Chartwells, working at a large and prestigious site, across multiple campuses.
**The position**
We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager to lead a high performing team. In this challenging and diverse role, you will be responsible for overseeing campus-wide functions, events, residential catering, and student dining. This is a role for a focused and motivated manager who thrives on a challenge and enjoys motivating, mentoring, and building an effective and professional team.
**You**:
- 5 plus years industry experience at management level
- Multi outlet/multi-site management experience
- A true foodie at heart, who loves nothing more than exploring the latest culinary trends
- A masterful service delivery professional who always puts the customer first
- Experience in a comparable environment or within a multi-site catering environment
- A 'get up and go' hands on manager who can lead from the front
- Ability to encourage and lead others
- Ability to interact with and maintain strong client engagement
**Key responsibilities**
- Communicate and work collaboratively with the client on all aspects of delivering a quality service
- Developing leadership and employee capability, and fostering a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovation
- Catering at a high level for events and functions (internal and external stakeholders)
- Quality delivery and oversight of residential boarding requirements
- Oversight of the development and professional presentation of the commercial café staff
- Ability to present budgets and reports to the client and board
