Role Description
The Operations Manager is responsible for the
day-to-day operational management of AkindaCo's therapy team and the emerging support worker service
, ensuring that systems, workflows, rostering, and operational processes function smoothly and consistently across both service streams.
This fractional leadership role provides operational management and coordination across multidisciplinary practitioners, support workers, and administrative functions, supporting effective service delivery while maintaining alignment with AkindaCo's policies, governance framework, and NDIS requirements.
The Operations Manager works closely with the Managing Director and Clinical Director to translate strategic and clinical direction into practical, sustainable operational systems. While this role does not hold clinical decision-making responsibility, it provides operational oversight of team functioning and service capacity, reducing operational load on senior leadership and supporting organisational growth.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in Business Operations Management, Process Optimization, and Administrative Management
* Skills in Team Leadership, Communication, and Stakeholder Collaboration
* Understanding of Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management
* Ability to analyze data, develop strategies, and problem-solve effectively
* Commitment to values-led and people-focused approaches
* Knowledge or experience in the mental health or education sectors is ideal
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (preferred)
* Demonstrated ability to lead and adapt in a dynamic environment
