Role Details:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Diamond Driller to join our growing team. This is a casual position with competitive pay, flexible rosters, and the potential for full-time employment.
To be successful in this role, you should:
* Be available for an immediate start
* Hold a current HR Licence (minimum)
* Possess a valid National Police Check (within the last 3 months)
* Hold a current First Aid certification
* Be able to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol screening)
* Be willing and able to work 12-hour shifts in remote locations
* Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
* Thrive in a team-oriented environment
* Have strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
As part of our team, your duties will include:
* Conducting pre-start checks and safety inspections
* Performing servicing and maintenance on drill rigs and auxiliary equipment
* Assisting with rig setup and operations
* Ensuring efficient sample recovery
* Maintaining hole integrity as per hole plans
* Upholding high housekeeping standards
* Overseeing crew behavior and performance
* Managing inventory control
* Providing clear instructions and project details to Driller's Assistants
* Training and mentoring drill crews
* Ensuring the safe operation of the rig and crew
