Family Therapist Role Overview
This role is designed to provide family therapy utilising the FFT-CW model to client families where a child/ren are referred to the program due to risk factors. The key objective for this position is to hold and reduce risk in the family home.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within our Children, Youth and Families Program based in Queanbeyan NSW.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A Bachelor qualification in Social Work or Psychology/Aboriginal Health Worker/Community Welfare Worker or Master of Counselling.
* Post Graduate training in relevant child, adolescent and family clinical practice, family therapy and systemic thinking is strongly preferred.
* Clinical experience working with families/adolescents strongly preferred.
This is a part-time 19hrs per week fixed term contract until March 31, 2026 opportunity. The position reports to the Family Therapist Supervisor.
