Hunt Hospitality is currently looking for an enthusiastic General Manager to level up at one of our venues in the Hunter Region and foster its ongoing success.

This role will manage a growing restaurant, kitchen & bar teams along with service to a strong gaming room. The successful candidate will envisage, plan and implement customer‐focused strategies into the business and streamline operational processes to grow gross profit and customer satisfaction. Previous experience running a successful hospitality operation would be highly preferred.

Role and Responsibilities
* Natural flair for presentation and the capacity to maintain a high standard to create Instagram‐able food and beverage service standards
* Collaborate enthusiastically with the Director of Operations and Marketing to deliver exceptional quality service
* Ensure all food and beverage outlets meet the weekly/quarterly budgets
* Monitor and implement seasonal plans for customers and employees
* Facilitate, manage & grow catering events and opportunities both on and off‐premises
* Support the Head Chef to generate on‐trend seasonal menus with a strategic focus on growth
* Foster innovation amongst employees towards customer‐centric goals and company vision 'To make people's day'
* Develop a strong recruitment strategy to ensure the talent pool & availability of staff in peak season
* Ensure money‐handling procedures are upheld
* Ensure opening and closing procedures are upheld
* Maintain venue and outlets by focusing on weekly repairs and maintenance schedule
* Maintain venue and outlets to ensure daily cleaning procedures are upheld
* Ensure correct ordering and stock receiving process is followed aptly
* Report weekly on plans to streamline restaurant and Bar operations to ensure delivery wage percentage targets
The Successful Candidate will be able to:
* Will have the appropriate RSA, RCG and RGO qualifications
* Work report to the Executive Team to deliver exceptional quarterly results for quality and margins
* Develop and present a quarterly kitchen strategy to the Chief Operating Officer
* Project a genuine passion to challenge the status quo and deliver innovative strategies and presentations for hotel restaurants
* Excellent communication in the venue between the kitchen, floor, bar, and management staff
* Proud level of reporting skills
* Foster a culture of proud, creatives who are rewarded for innovation and strategy efforts
* Work alongside the Marketing Team to develop strong, on‐trend messaging for the venue
* Monitor verbal and digital feedback and pivot and respond accordingly
* Ensure a weekly catch‐up with the management team where needed to boost morale and productivity
* Creating a harmonious environment, building on the goodwill of the company to ensure a for all staff
