We are currently seeking a Lifestyle/Social Support Assistant to join our team at Lifeview. This is your chance to be part of an award-winning team.

We're seeking a qualified, experienced and passionate Lifestyle Assistant who is dedicated to making a difference in residents' daily lives. Some flexibility in hours. We pride ourselves on our friendly team environment, which allows residents to feel right at home, as well as our industry leading lifestyle programs.
Reporting to the Social Support Co-Ordinator, this is an excellent prospect for a motivated, dedicated and proactive Lifestyle/Social Support Assistant to join our team, to get creative, have fun and really make a difference. You are only limited by your imagination.
Your days will be filled with rewarding moments as you enhance the lives of residents. Your can-do attitude and willingness to commit to our LIFE principles will ensure your success in this role.
Lifestyle / Social Support Assistant:
- The Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
- Demonstrated experience in assisting with delivering and evaluating recreational and rehabilitative programs for the aged
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to write clear and precise English appropriate to resident's needs
- Mature outlook with the ability to relate and converse with older people
- Ability and commitment to working as part of the team
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work without supervision
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Excellent networking and engaging skills within the wider community
- Ability to work within the culture of Lifeview Residential Care
- Be passionate about aged care
- A team player who enjoys having FUN at work
- Level 2 First Aid Qualification
- Hold a current driver's license
- Other specialised qualifications in areas such as dementia best practice, music or the arts will be highly regarded
- Experience with electronic documentation systems will be highly regarded
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft packages
