**About DCV**
**DCV** provides a broad range of NDIS and TAC (Transport Accident Commission) person-centred services, delivered by our large team of experienced support workers. DCV’s services are provided in people’s own homes and in the community, to people living with disability or mental health conditions, or requiring support with their rehabilitation and therapy programs, across the entire Eastern half of Victoria.
**About the position**
The position of **NDIS Support Coordinator** is a **full time**, fast-paced and rewarding position. We are seeking a team member who is experienced and has full functional and practical knowledge of the NDIS platform as you will be required to liaise with NDIS participants, Allied Health providers, Service providers, Disability Support providers and NDIS LAC's. You will be responsible for setting up supports and services and assist participants to ensure they understand their service agreements and service supports. You will review their support arrangements to ensure participants have choice and control over their plan and supports. Excellent time management and administrative skills, with a proven record in meeting performance targets and the ability to manage a budget will we fundamental in this role.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum Certificate IV in Disability, mental health, or other qualification relevant to the field of human services with relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience empowering and supporting people with disability and/or mental health experience utilizing the NDIS portal
- Strong leadership, planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work and communicate effectively with clients, their families, community agencies and other professionals.
- Genuine desire to provide the best quality support for people with disabilities.
- Ability to work in a very busy environment and to work both independently and as a part of a team.
- Understanding of privacy and confidentiality issues.
- NDIS Worker Check
- First Aid/CPR
- Current Drivers Licence
- Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g., citizen, permanent resident)
- Working with Children Check
**Desired**:
- Tertiary qualifications: Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or other Allied Health disciplines
- Experience using a customer records management system, such as Salesforce, Lumary, Carelink
