About the Role
As an Interior Designer at Cachet Group, you will thrive working on your own initiative while collaborating closely with our wider Design & Delivery team in Sydney. You will envision, design and document interior spaces for both new and existing Cachet clients, working alongside delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
You will play a pivotal role in the success of our clients' interior spaces, working across multiple commercial projects.
Your role will include:
* Leading and contributing to concept design, spatial planning and design development
* Attending regular client meetings and presenting project updates
* Producing high-quality presentation, documentation and communication material
* Collaborating with design and delivery teams to align design intent, program and budget
* Managing and guiding design expectations and outcomes across the project lifecycle
About You
You will have a hands-on approach and a genuine "can-do" attitude, with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively. You are responsive, proactive, and motivated to continue growing through design research and staying current with industry trends.
* Minimum 4 years' relevant experience in a similar Interior Design role
* Workplace / office fit-out experience (preferred)
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the design industry (Design & Construction experience preferred)
* Advanced skills in Revit (essential) and Adobe InDesign (preferred)
* Excellent communication and relationship skills with internal and external stakeholders
* Confident presentation abilities, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders
* Strong creative capability with the ability to conceptualise and communicate ideas clearly
* Experience working in fast-paced, challenging and rewarding environments
* Ability to design within budget and manage projects from start to finish
* Good product knowledge and established supply-chain contacts
* A collaborative mindset, positive attitude
