Overview
Toll Aviation, part of the Toll Group, operates multiple contracts across Australia and is looking for experienced pilots interested in joining our HEMS team in the future. Our highly-qualified team of pilots, aircrew, engineers and safety managers have wide experience in a diverse range of operations, under challenging conditions, including remote, maritime and mountainous locations, in all weather conditions – day or night. Toll Group supports more than 20,000 customers worldwide with 500 sites in 27 markets, and a forwarding network spanning 150 countries. Toll Aviation seeks expressions of interest for future vacancies on our HEMS contract in NSW and the ACT.
Reporting to Base Managers, these positions work on an equal time roster and employment is pursuant to the Toll Helicopters Enterprise Bargaining Agreement 2022.
Responsibilities
Provide safe, reliable, mission-critical aeromedical services to NSW and ACT Health as part of Toll Aviation’s HEMS operations.
Operate within an environment requiring high levels of teamwork and communication, and adhere to all safety, regulatory and operational procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
* Excellent crew resource management and communication skills
* CASA Air Transport Pilots License (Helicopter) with endorsements and ratings to act as pilot in command of all NSW/ACT EMS operations authorized by the Operator’s certificate
* 2,500 hours rotary wing flight experience
* 1,500 PIC (pilot in command) turbine rotary wing
* 500 hours PIC multi-engine turbine rotary wing
* Minimum 12 months and 100 hours PIC in EMS / SAR operation
* NVG Endorsement with minimum 50 hours PIC NVG
* Multi-Engine Command Instrument Rating with minimum 3 renewals
* CASA Class 1 Medical
* Comprehensive night, winch and IFR experience
* Highly desirable AW139 Type Endorsement with minimum 100 hours PIC relevant experience on type
* EMS/SAR experience on AW139
