The role involves delivering high-quality mental health care to patients within the integrated Mental Health and ATODS, as well as the Homeless Health Outreach Team. This challenging and dynamic position offers a chance to contribute meaningfully to healthcare in one of Australia's unique regions.
Ideal candidates are experienced clinicians seeking a change and are unafraid to take on diverse challenges. Key qualifications include FRANZCP, FACRRM, or FRACGP + FARGP, along with MBBS or equivalent registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA). Preferably, candidates should be eligible for registration as a Specialist in Psychiatry with AHPRA and have completed training for the Mental Health Act 2016 - Authorised Doctor/Authorised Psychiatrist.
Experience in Addictions psychiatry is highly desirable, and the role offers an opportunity to work in an environment with wide-open spaces and panoramic views. Covering a vast geographical area and serving a population, this position provides exposure to unique casemix diversities.

- Permanent full-time position with a competitive remuneration package ranging from $265,800 to $583,039 p.a.
