AWS Cloud Engineer (with Nutanix Expertise)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience in Nutanix to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure solutions. This role requires strong expertise in cloud architecture, virtualization, and enterprise IT environments, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications.
• Implement and maintain Nutanix virtualization and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) solutions.
• Automate cloud operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud workloads for performance and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and security best practices.
• Provide technical documentation and support for cloud and Nutanix environments.
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong experience in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Hands-on expertise with Nutanix AHV, Prism, and Nutanix Files/Objects.
• Proficiency in Linux/Windows system administration.
• Experience with networking concepts (VPN, firewalls, routing, load balancing).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
