Night drilling supervisor (perth)

On behalf of our client, a global energy operator, we are looking for a Night Drilling Supervisor.

This role will be the alternate Senior Representative at the well site for all well construction activities and will report to the Senior (Day) Drilling Supervisor.

**About this role**
- Coordinate closely with the Senior Drilling Supervisor and supervise the execution of the approved offshore drilling construction program
- Ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Drilling Management System.
- Manage offshore well construction operations to meet Company QHSE and asset objectives.
- Manage offshore well construction operations in line with the Well Control Procedures, Well Control Bridging documents and Well Operations Manual document.
- Participate as a key player in drilling & completion campaign planning and preparation.
- Review of drilling & completion guidelines to ensure they are in accordance with company and legislative requirement and fit for purpose.
- Manage the activities of offshore rig supervision team (Materials and Logistics Coordinator, Well site Drilling Engineer, Technical Specialists, Well site geologist, Completion Supervisor, Subsea Supervisor)
- Manage the offshore supervisory team to ensure the appropriate focus and attention is given to HSE supervision including the team's involvement in Risk Assessment Planning, Safe Working Practice development, HSE and Critical Control Audits & Inspections and weekly safety meetings
- Ensure that the company give all required support to the Installation OIM to ensure that operations are carried out safely and effectively.
- Assist with the coordination of activities to ensure operational planning and logistics management is given a high priority and to provide for secure, efficient and cost-effective operations
- Input into the detailed well construction operations plans
- Oversee the management of service company and contractor personnel at the well site
- Ensure that all well operations are adequately risk assessed prior to executing.
- Assist in reviewing and preparation of Standing Instructions Drillers (SID) for all well construction operations.
- Ensure that all operations and well status reports are accurately completed as per the requirements of the Well Programme and the Drilling Management System.
- Ensure that all well integrity barriers are in place, at all times during Well Construction operations.
- Ensure that any changes to the Well Programme are agreed with the Superintendent and that where necessary the Management of Change process is completed and approved.
- Assist with ensuring accident, incidents and near misses are recorded and reported (as per the requirements of the HSE and EP Plan), that the appropriate level of company involvement is provided for causation determination and that all actions are closed out in a timely manner as per the HSE Plan
- Proactively adhere to and promote the Client/Company workplace values and behaviors exercising tolerance and respect for diversity.
- Is a Safety Leader on the MODU
- Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures.
- Alerts the SDSV of the incident as soon as the situation has been stabilized and the worksite made safe
- Actively participate in Client/Company Safety programs and training as required.
- Assist with ensure that all documented HSE Plan deliverables are met.
- Ensure that all well operations are adequately risk assessed prior to executing

**About you**
- Degree in Engineering or Science Preferred and minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
- IWCF Subsea Supervisors Well Control Certificate.
- TBOSIET certificate.
- MISC Card (preferable).
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience as NDSV.
- Previous experience with Drilling Contractor preferred.
