Ballina Shire Council is seeking an Industry Liaison Officer to support the delivery of its Economic Development Program.
The successful candidate will provide administrative and engagement support, including maintaining a business contact database, preparing communications and promotional materials, coordinating industry events and meetings, and responding to business enquiries.
* Key qualifications include vocational certificate in business administration, tourism, communications or a related field, and/or sufficient experience in an administrative or office support environment.
* The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience supporting events, stakeholder communications or business engagement activities, and possess strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
* A high level of computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft 365 and corporate software, is also essential.
