Our client specialises in commercial new builds and refurbs up to $30m in value. Here you will enjoy a professional and excellent work culture. You will work alongside some very competent and motivated people who have been working in the industry for 20 + years. Your time will be spent onsite and in the office reporting to the States Construction Manager.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide timely and accurate HSE advice and hands-on support to the project
* Support offices to plan and execute recurrent HSE compliance activities
* Conduct auditing, reporting and other assurance activities
* Assist the business in gaining relevant licenses & certificates to deliver large government work
* Actively identify and address performance gaps and make recommendations to improve HSE outcomes
To be successful within this position, you will:
* Have the ability to work both autonomously and as a part of a team
* Have a hands on and proactive approach to your role
* Possess a Cert IV in Health and Safety (commercial construction experience is a must)
