Are you looking for a meaningful administration role that fits within school hours and terms?
We are seeking a dedicated and organised School Administration Officer to join our welcoming school community on a full time, permanent basis, starting Term 1, ****.
This position is ideal for a parent or carer, as it offers school holidays off.
This role will be across 2 campuses in a supporting role.
Position Summary
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Schedule: School terms only, plus one week
Type: Full time, permanent
Location: Bath St Campus (Transition to Year 4)
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a welcoming environment with empathy towards students and sensitive circumstances
Provide secretarial support to staff, including data entry, and meetings
Accurately record students' attendance/absences using NT Catholic CES system
Work collaboratively with all College staff to ensure specific outcomes are achieved
Assist the Curriculum Coordinator in managing internal systems (SACE, Accelerus, OARS, GradeXpert)
Maintain a first aid kit, administer first aid to students and staff, and keep a current first aid certificate
Knowledge of Google Docs
Duties as directed by the Principal or delegate
Ideal Candidate
A warm and approachable communicator with a strong sense of empathy
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable using a range of digital systems and platforms
Holds a current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
Prior experience in a school or education environment is desirable
Able to maintain confidentiality and work independently or as part of a team
