About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, this role focuses on managing key major accounts and providing exceptional service to Tier 1 and Tier 2 mining and resources customers. You'll follow established procurement and sales processes to source, quote, and supply a wide variety of industrial and safety products.
This position suits someone who values accuracy, structure, and consistency. The work is process-driven and precise, with clear standards to meet and routines that allow for forward planning. While the pace can be fast due to industry demands, success comes from working steadily, thoroughly, and with a commitment to doing things right the first time.
Daily interaction with customers and suppliers is a core part of the role, conducted in a professional yet friendly and helpful manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of major customer accounts within the mining and resources sector.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.
* Negotiate supplier pricing to secure the best commercial outcomes.
* Procure a wide range of industrial and safety materials.
* Prepare detailed quotations and process sales orders with accuracy.
* Apply technical and analytical skills within established systems and procedures.
* Support end-to-end supply chain requirements when required.
* Prioritise and manage multiple tasks and customer needs simultaneously.

Qualifications & Skills
Full working rights in Australia.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
High level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks thoroughly.
Collaborative and helpful nature with patient, professional communication.
Willingness to contribute to workflow improvements.
SAP experience is advantageous but not essential
