AXENT is a leading electronics-based sign manufacturer, proudly delivering high-quality solutions across Queensland. Due to continued growth and the successful award of major contracts, we are expanding our team and seeking motivated Labourers to join us at our Yatala branch.
About the Role
This role is hands-on, working primarily in the field assisting our Civil team with the installation of signage across Queensland. You will also support workshop activities such as assembly, quality checks, and general labouring duties. No previous industry experience is required – full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
· Assisting Civil staff onsite, including vac truck operations and crane works
· Supporting the installation of signage and related infrastructure
· Building, assembling, and quality-checking electronic signs when required
· Performing quality checks on finished products
· Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area
· Following all Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures
· General onsite labouring duties as directed
What We're Looking For
We are seeking reliable, motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the industry. The ideal candidate will:
· Hold a current and valid driver's licence (essential). Manual is highly regarded
· MR Truck Licence (manual) highly regarded – training/licensing support available after probation
· Have excellent communication skills, be well-presented, and punctual
· Show initiative, logical reasoning, and a willingness to learn
· Be able to follow instructions accurately and promptly
· Be competent with basic hand and power tools
· Be familiar with (or willing to learn) QA and OHS practices
· Be capable of working independently and as part of a team
· Be available for away work (at least one week per month)

Additional Information
· Standard work hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (with overtime and after-hours work as required)
· Applicants must have Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or full working rights in Australia
· Applicants must be based in South-East Queensland and able to commute to Yatala
· Successful candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment and provide consent for a police check

· Monday to Friday
· Regular away works (approx. 1 to 2 weeks per month)
